Flying back to Canada for Christmas 2015. The older couple sitting next to me had "stolen" my window seat leaving me with their aisle seat - the language barrier made it impossible for me to explain this to them - though they were kind enough to interrupt whatever movie I had been watching to point out the beautiful landscape below. They thought we were above Canada, but I told them (though I doubt they understood much), that we were still hours away from Canada. I checked the in-flight tracker/map/positioning/thing and found out we were over the southern part of Greenland which both they and myself thought was very cool. On a similar previous flight I noticed on the map that I was over Iceland, but disappointingly, it was obscured by clouds.
